Hi Matt,

They have done a few Pop Promo's. This should be the 1st posting of this vid as it's just been finished being edited.

This is the 1st vid they have done on HVX the last one was on the DVX.

Cheers,

This is the reason i purchased the camera. This video ruled, looked really professional good job.

i agree can you post your settings?

Nice work! How many times do you get them to run through the song? I haven't got into the music video side of things but a few bands have asked if I could shoot them a promo - would be useful to know how long something like this takes and how many takes you do.

Actuially most of the day was spent on green screen stuff that didn't end up in the vid.

The setups in the vid took about 3 or 4 hours.

The timelape stuff was shot on a seperate day by Ben.

But in my experience you need to put aside one full day for a music video.

Booth,

Are you shooting Bar Stewards on the HVX?

I am shooting a feature in a couple months here in London on the HVX and I am trying to work out the best Work-flow / storage solution.

Would be good so swap war stories.

Loved the video but didn't understand the whole car speeding forward it was too much of it. Other then that very professional.

nice video.... clean and simple, good shots

I felt some of the freeway TLs were a bit stronger than others.... some of them werent visually "punchy" enough, others were very good

my only crit is that I would scale back the use of some of those cutaways and use only the very powerful ones more sparingly.... IMO this would increase the intensity of the cutaways

excellent job though!

Hi Mat,

I don't really know anything about the last vid they did. I was hired in with my camera to work on this one. From what I understood the last one was on the DVX but I guess I was wrong.

And yes Ben did mention that the played on E4, so your information is good.
