... I have finished the text of my bachelor's thesis. :2vrolijk_08: :2vrolijk_08:

It's the basic theory of creating a live multi-camera TV program and a full operations manual for the Studio, control rooms, TV channel, and supporting production facilities I've spent the past 4 years designing and building at my college.

It's been a long month, but the text is all there. I still have a bit of final editing to polish up, and a couple more photos and diagrams to prepare and insert, but the "meat" is done. In 24 hours it should be ready for submission.

Some pictures from along the way....

Excellent Mikko

Congrats. I'm sure it will be great to finish it up, hand it over and be done with it.

Later,
Jason

Cool Mikko, best of luck. What is the DV deck that the Sony preview monitor is sitting on next to the edit bay #1?

Congratulations, Mikko! That setup looks amazing. That school will remember you for a long time. You'll forever be remembered as "The Steady One Who Brought Us Lots Of Cool Stuff." :)

damn dude they make you work for your Bachelors huh? all i had to do was submit 10 paintings....

yeah they do ... and the kicker is: They pay me for spending their money on all the gear I get to use!

That's in adition to the €200/month student aid I get from the government.

And no, we don't pay tuition here.

- Mikko ... installed a brand spanking new $8000 Panny MX-70 video mixer today, bringing his purchase total to about $65K

For starters...YOU DON'T PAY TUITION THERE?!?!?!? ARRRGH!

But seriously, congratulations. You must be incredibly relieved. When you work on something like that and put in so much work its an incredible feeling to have it all completed.

Just turn that baby in, hook a steadicam up to a beer and pound 'em down to celebrate without spillin' a drop!
