Sorry to ask this, but I'm beginning to go mad and I'm a bit under time pressure:
I think I already did that before, but right now I can NOT:
Export a Quicktime Reference with various MXF HVX footage (only) from latest AVID MC (same with XPRESS PRO) and import that QT Ref into After Effects; or even view the QT Reference in QT Player. QT says a codec is missing.
Not true, all AVID codecs are installed (and have been re-installed), P2-software has been re-installed, Avid works fine and reads my MXF files, and I can even watch my MXF's (without a Quicktime "coat") in Windows Media Player. Nonetheless: the Qucktime reference (pointing to MXF-files) is not readable by any application.
This should work, shouldn't it??? I'm damned sure I did this before...
Before I rip everything apart and build it up from scratch I just wanted to make sure that Quicktime reference files pointing to MXF files actually do work at all...
Thanks..
