Ok , thats the story
i found the company who makes lavaliers microphones for few other companies incl one of the major wierless makers who use their stuff .
the good thing they came out with new microphone which in some way is better then most common you usially use and give very good sound quality which comes very near to the brand i usially use and got about 55% as a favor lavaliere between the professional soundmans .
so we are talking about very good mic , i tested it and iam going to use it from now as my prime whith my older stuff .
since i love this group i want to make a contest for the brand name we will give this fellow .
the mics would be reasonably priced for dv user market since it wouldn't have any extra hand between us (me and my friend who is going to solder it and invested in my stupid move;-)) and you as my customers .
the only extra you will have is the shipping from middle of nower where iam to the middle of nower you are .
so the winner if there will be one will get free mic and if there wouldn't i still give one who will be the most close to what i like .

thats about all , pictures and specifications i will publish as the mics will be ready about a month or 2 from now

so name it
best

My first thought is -- "Kaizerman" sounds kind of upscale (has a bit of a Neumann ring to it) -- but I presume your partner needs at least equal billing. How about hypenating your two names: Kaizerman-*** or ***-Kaizerman?

Thinking of the qualities I like in a lav mic... I want it to be CLEAR... I want to hear ARTICULATION... I want it to be STEALTHY... I want it to sound good... and I want it to be reliable. I'm trying to look for words of art and sound that would fit... or else some word with military roots, to imply strength, substance, and reliablity... something like sentinel... I also like science and ideas of science and art combined... a diaphragm that moves with the most subtle sound... oxygen would be a cool brand. Everybody needs oxygen.

I'll keep thinking about it... my only other option so far is Kaizerheiser.

I also like impulse and transience or maybe transcience.

The surface tension of water is called meniscus and that kind of has a greek god sound, plus it's scientific sounding. One of the key elements of creating a good microphone is the diaphragm... which is usually a mylar skin... often sputtered with gold... then hand tensioned in better mics.

Do you have a picture of the mic to post. Sometimes visuals can inspire one to make a more representative name.

I really like Hiss 2.0...

Okay transient is what inspired transience or transcience... because a transient is both a sonic pulse and a homeless drifter... but since we both thought of it I'm moving it up my list.

Sonance is a high-end stereo company already.

Big Sound (for the company)

Trademark iLav now so when Apple decides they're going to release their own iLav mic that works with their iPhone (oops...sorry Cisco, really, we didn't think you'd mind if we used your trademark without asking, honest...) you'll have first lawsuit rights.

:-)
