Still from Youth Comedy Video

[Matt Sconce]

Here is a still from the video I just shot for my church youth group. I shot in 720pn with the marshall and M2 adapter 50mm lens. I definitely am learning a lot.

Beautiful image....totally screams comedy. Nice lighting on the image too. But come on, where's the footage?

[Brandon Rice]

Yeah, it really looks good.

Haha! It was fun to do. The kids love it. I try to make videos with my youth group. It gets them reaching out to others and getting more confident in themselves. I sell the videos on www.sermonspice.com You send videos to them that could be used by churches or youth groups, scenery, graphic transitions, dramas, comedy, abstract, etc, and then you make 50% of the profits it makes for three years. After that, you can either renew your contract or remove your video from the site, retaining all rights. Pretty sweet deal. I make about 200.00 a month by doing this and I have about 10 videos up. This is the most recent. I will post it here when I get it uploaded to my website.

Cool...looking forward to seeing it. Nice idea about involving the youth group like that...I have been talking to our youth pastor about doing some short films with the youth in our church also.

I forgot about sermonspice, thanks for the reminder as I need to get INVITATION up there.

Peace,
Larry

Thanks for mentioning Sermonspice! I was unware of it and have been producing a series or worship videos without having a clue how I will market them. Thanks for the clue!
