With or without brevis!

Hi,

after weeks of waiting finally i got my Brevis.

i finished a quick test to see the difference. (with or without adapter)
i used Nikon 50mm f/2.8 lens.
i hope it gives an idea.

That can't be right. That's not good at all.

Make sure that you have the focus spot-on, and also that you've properly focused on the ground glass.
 
Z, check your email...we need to set you up with access to the owner's section for manuals etc. It's tough focusing in dark conditions like that, but once you check out the owner's materials, you'll eliminate at least any back focus/framing issues. When you have it right, the Gilette text should be just as sharp as the "without Brevis" shots. Is this the DVX100b? Congrats on being our first owner in Turkey :-)

you may right there may be a focusing issue . i can not say that i made %100 perfect focus/framing setup. because i did it without reading any any manual and help. (so brevis is such an easy setup) . I just plug and play!
I will check the manual.

I'll admit I was a little surprised when Richard (RGD here) posted his review of the adapter, and actually had not read the manual ! We've been working pretty hard to make sure everyone has this info, before they get the unit...but it's true, you can literally screw it on, focus/frame and start shooting :-)

For the current crop of adapters, the image tuning section is very important as the movement is now tunable and can affect your image if it's not correct.
