Charger wont charge

This is strange. I've never had an issue with my charger before, but after busting out the DVX for the first time in a month or so I was unable to charge either battery. I would put it on and the green light wouldnt show. I tried flicking the switch on the backside of them (whats that do anyway) and that of course didnt work. Then I saw that if I push down really hard on the battery the green light would come on. Release the presure and it goes off.

Anyone have any clue what is going on here or how I could fix it?
 
But if pushing down helps, it's a contact issue. Probably on the harger, since it does the same to both batteries.

Dirt? Corrosion? Something internal loose?
 
Both are pana batts on the original pana charger.

I dont see any dirt or corrosion. Maybe something is loose....

How much is a new charger?
 
And Panasonic one, or one that will work?

$30 or so for non-Panasonic. A web search will bring up a bunch.
