Just got back from MY final day on the TTN set... another good day... thanks to Mark, Ted, Tim, Kevin, Blaine, Bullis, Kyle, Alex, and all the rest of the cast and crew who were involved most of the days and really made a fun set... I enjoyed being a part of it!

damn i missed EVERYONE!!! -- i'm glad the shoot went real well. i think sticking around for the air show would've been a blast!! oh well. it was such a fun time out there and i think i can speak for both alex and i when i say that we would definitely come back out in a heartbeat. it's all about makin' movies over there... and we love it. -- thanks for the opportunity!!

On another note... bad experience this morning as i was beginning to woo a young lady i was sitting next to on the plane ride back. i was slightly disgruntled to learn that she was in the 7th grade.

****! bullis!!

And the weather today was GREAT!!! No wind like yesterday and the high was around 70 thanks to the Red Vines.

Yeah, missed you and Alex today Kyle... you were both great on set man... always willing to help out in whatever way... Really enjoyed meeting Alex for the first time, and hangin' with you again.

I sent an email, but also wanted to say if any of the cast or crew wants all of my BTS pics (I shot almost 5 gigs worth) minus the junk ones, let me know.

The best day yet, guys. .... Wonderful stuff. And we have all of the footage (Ted's hard drive was knocked off the table right before we left and we were worried that we'd get here and find it not recognized. Fortunately, the worry was unfounded).

We stopped and picked up fixings for a big pasta dinner and Scott Bullis is working his magic in the kitchen.

Tomorrow we'll be shooting b-roll footage at the airport and on Monday we'll be doing a stop in the desert to pick up some specific footage needed for FX. That will be it for principal photography. Kevin and Blaine will be doing ADR next week and Ted and I will get started editing in San Jose. That will only leave FX and Herman's score to get our print finished by the end of the month.

Here's a frame from last night with Alex getting to make his debut in the cast of TTN:

Cool stuff.. nice grab Mark! Is that from the handheld section? I want to see that footage man! Also, when you drop my battery off on Mon. you can pick up this tape with the B-roll I shot today on my DVX or Rob's plane... I forgot to leave it with you when I left.

Thanks everyone for a wonderful and logistically challenging project!

I want to thank our cast for their excellent performances, good attitudes and understanding. Working on locations, particularly those with a large public event happening concurrently makes for its own difficulties. Add to that a challenging number of scenes along with a number of complex setups, well it can make for more than a bit of hurry up and wait. Everyone maintained a great attitude and that made my job all the easier.

To all the crew members, you all have my deepest personal thanks for your above the call of duty efforts. We suffered through rain, wind, cold, long nights and early mornings. This was the first opportunity that I had to meet a lot of you and I want you all to know that I think you did wonderful work.

A big personal thanks to Blaine and Tim for coming on board to assist me. I couldn't have done my job without your hard work and excellent input. This is our 4th film in under 5 months and each time we work together it becomes even easier for me to do my job. I hope that we continue to work as a team, I really enjoy it.

Finally, my thanks to Mark and Ted for placing their confidence in me to DP this project. It was an honor to be given responsibility for what is such a personal story, one that is worthy of being told. I can only hope that my work has come close to your high expectations.

Thanks again everyone!

Kevin
