I am using a Marshall V-R70P-HAD 7" monitor in the field. I am connected using the component output from the camera. Am I seeing real HD on this monitor. I usually shoot in 720 24pn.
also FYI: I had Nebtek upgrade my Marshall to accept Panasonic batteries, works great, I highly recommend.
Thanks

Not all broadcast/studio monitors display pixel for pixel HD, more so in 1080. Glad to hear the Marshall is working well, it's on my list of things to purchase next.

Not sure what the technical answer is to your question. Is it yes, or is it no, but the Marshall can display the HD sourced footage? :D

yeah, ive heard recently that the marshall isnt totally sharp in HD. but almost all reviews ive read are positive. the res is only up to 480, but its listed as being HD. im thinking about buying this monitor, so i would like some clarification. So is 480 enough to focus HD?
