So excited! I'll meet her for a day! (Alex and I fly back out on the 6th... we're missing the BIG EVENT... but school beckons!) So excited! I'm happy to say I'm the first person to actually post in this thread ON CHRISTMAS! Hooray! (Except for maybe those who live out of the USA...)

No nifty captions I can think of, but I'm IMPRESSED with Jeremy's Photoshop skills ... even convincingly placed the shadow, lighting, etc. Nice!

HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAA That's Awesome!

Great job. I love it. Sure beats that Wing Walker we met in Thermal, right Mark?

Very good Jeremy. Nice touch with that shadow, too!

I think that the caption box needs to go to the pilot flying the plane... He looks a bit surprised!

Thanks guys for the comments... but I got lucky with these photos working so well together.

There was some hilarious comments that went with the photo but I especially like Mark's.

Hope everyone is having a good holiday. Whens the next day of shooting? I'm jonesin.

Hey Tim,

Still working on putting a shooting schedule together, but right now, it looks like we will be shooting on the evenings of the 2nd & 3rd (hangar interior and the pilot briefing room). The exterior shots are still being scheduled but likely a bit later that week. Just waiting on some still photographs from the location and a few dimensions so that I can put together a lighting and grip equipment list.

Looks like we will need to add a Kino as my Caselite didn't survive the last night in the hangar so I will need to send it out to be repaired.

This time I am going to put the 2x4s at the top of the list in big bold letters!

yes Merry Christmas everyone!

I gotta say, I'm very interested in how the shadow was created in that picture that Jeremy photoshopped.

Step 1: Get Photoshop
Step 2: Go to Art school for five years
Step 3: Do a convincing shadow

Okay... just kidding... (I never went to art school anyway). This is what I did:

After cutting out Ted (which actually was the hardest part because the blue screen was very uneven and covered in shadows, so I just manually went in there with the selection tool and eraser and had at it... all on a mask though so I could go back and fix any goofs) I then duplicated the layer, darkened and contrasted it until it was solid black, skewed it a bunch, shrunk it (mostly width wise), and rotated it a hair. Some legs didn't match up so I erased those and then duplicated the shadow layer and moved the duplication until the rest of the legs lined up and erased the extra parts on the duplicated layer so it would blend with the other shadow layer.

Okay, I hope that makes sense and helps... I know I got confused writing it.
