Post 10...

Drag a section of video onto the droplet and let it go.

Then see if you can submit it.

Good luck,

Frak!

I'm sorry --

Just do what I've asked. I spent some time on that and you've given me no indication that 12 posts ago you tried what I suggested.

That's what's got me so ticked.

Start over...

Hey J --

You have a chance to try out that droplet yet? Droplets are little apps Compressor creates that let you just drag and drop your files.

Since this will be a HUGE TIME BUST for you to compress any length of movie... I suggest you export a small clip from your timeline == maybe a few seconds tops -- and try using that.

See if it works well for you.

Let me know how it works and I'll tweak.

Good luck,

CaptM

Awesome, followed your steps that you repeated in post 21 and it worked (aka it started working on a file i dropped on it).

simply, I just didn't know what a droplet was. I thought it was a .mov, now I realize it is some kind of compressor preset.

I have saved it and when I try it out with HDV footage (after Jan 07) I will PM you and let you know how it worked out.

Thanks... all finished here in time from Christmas.

Happy Holidays... and good luck with Wii.
