Good looking grabs. One question, though... how come we always see grabs from you, but I don't think I've ever seen any real time footage??

Seems like you're ALWAYS working on something, yet I can't recall ever seeing a finished product, or hearing you promote a finished peice...

rcbrown23...i remember a demo reel and something else from rlscott. :) might want to search or maybe scott will repost the links.

Thanks bro, I study mostly chinese martial arts ( Wushu/ Kung fu ). most of my team study Korean, Japanese and chinese styles ( Tae Kwon Do, Wushu, Shotokan ). It works out well, because they do their own stunts. sometimes, we have to train the actors we work with in hand to hand combat, and wire work.

It's hard enough to find people in GA that are up to it. Even harder to find those interested in doing the same things.

Dude, this is hot. I just finished my project but I wish I could've had some guys like this for my film. We did have some good guys who were actual fighters and trickers but guys that could actually show off like this were far and few in between. I had about maybe four of five guys out of all that were good and maybe three out of them that were truely great. But the film turned out real good though so that's the main thing. The next one will be even better (we'll even have ninjas).

Amazing action showreel. Devil May Cry fx work looks great.

Thanks Chris, Ennfurno... first off, the trailer for promises was fantastic. I use all flourescent lighting. It's not as abrasive as yellow light, and really maximizes the picture quality. I bought my entire lighting kit from home depot. a couple of tripod lights, and several clamp lights, that way you can concentrate the light where you want it. often times I'll tape a few clamp lights to the ceiling... it ads some really nice shadows to the actors.

one more thing I realized through lighting is that you get a better result by getting the light as close to the actors as possible while filming. I try to use a lot of light on set, because you can always tone the light down in post... but if you try to ad light to scenes that are dark in post, the picture will look grainy and come out terrible.
