Mark and Ted's Excellent Adventure in Drama

Hey everyone! Just got back to Santa Clarita! Had a blast today with Mark, Kyle, and Bullis! All great guys! We did some awesome testing today, and hopefully Mark can get some footy online tonight. I'll post some BTS pics of today when I get home tonight!

Also, Mark can probably help me in demystifying the man, Daniel Noa.... he'll also have his share of BTS pics.

I am writing on my Treo somewhere on the 5. A large spike-like object penetrated a tire and we had an interesting time trying to get the lug nuts off (had been put on with an impact wrench)....On road again on miniature spare blazing up to San Jose at above recommended speeds ...... developing ..........
 
It's been one day and I'm five pages behind all ready.. jeez.

Saturday Report!

Saturday Report!

Well, here goes my telling of the Saturday of fun!

Daniel & I arrived at Cable Airport around 11AM this morning....

We were met up by these three gentlemen....

We had lunch, and tons of fun chatting, etc... It was great meeting Kyle and Bullis for the first time!

Then we headed off to shoot some handheld shot tests.... (my first time shooting with an HVX!!!!)

We used a brand new beta device called a Camhandle (www.camhandle.com) which is still in developement! Hopefully Mark can post some footage up later, so you can see the awesome shots achievable with this simple device!

Then we were off... Daniel and I headed to Pasadena to pick our FINAL shot up for Smuggler's Ransom!

it was great meeting you, too, man! what a fun day today was! mark is in the other room working on some forensic 3d stuff. i'm hanging in his living room watching family guy about to update my blog. great conversations today, i'm having a very good stay out here and will have trouble leaving on wednesday!

at least i'll be back out in january!

Yes sir! Great great time! LOL! Had so many laughs today man, great stuff! Tell Mark to get to work on posting some of that footy! I've got some of my own on the way as well!
 
he's so wrapped up... i might have to do that myself. let's see here... can i fit this p2 in my zd8000? i bet it cant handle hd that well... oh well, here's to trying! we'll see what i can do.

Yeah, I think it'll fit man! I am gunna grab a clip Daniel & I shot in Pasadena... testing that device out as well! Hope you can get that other footage up too!
 
alright, i'm downloading the evaluation version of cineform right now... the p2 card fits in the slot nicely. stay tuned for some hilarious slow-mo and brandon's walking shots.

god you guys... i've been trying SO hard to get this stupid thing to work. i've put the p2 card in the slot, and am trying to use cineform to demux this ****... but i've failed at that. then i whipped out my firewire and tried to capture via THAT. i'm just not cut out for hd... sigh...

any help!?!? i think i'm going to give up...
