FS: Glidecam V16 (with low-mode kit and L7-PRO 7" LCD)

She's not really pretty. Quite rough and ugly in fact. Mikko calls this model a "clunker" I think, and I'd probably agree.
There's some surface rust.
Was used on several projects, including one documentary project in the South Pacific. Here's a MOV file of about 26MB of a quick Glidecam sample:

(stream or right-click, I don't really care)

So, you get everything that normally comes with it EXCEPT:
- the originalAB battery has been removed and is NOT included. It is replaced with a TEKKEON MP3400 battery and charger.

This rig has this modification:
- the quick-release plate has been super-modified with a "standard" Bogen plate to accept the same quick release as is found on the 501 and 503 heads. A LONG quick release plate is included, although not pictured.

And this item has a special option:
- the L7-Pro has an SDI input (which is unusual and was an option from new), as well as regular S-Video and composite


The low-mode kit is unused.

She does work fine, and is definitely still a workable unit.

Thanks; although unless you broke in here in the middle of the night and checked out the timeline in my NLE, you wouldn't know, as I am still editing it! You must have seen some other docu! :)

So, does it come with the monitor pictured above? In the original post you indicated the package included all the standard items EXCEPT...

Just wanted to clarify whether these items were non-standard but were included with the sale of this rig?
 
Oh yeah, my bad: yes, the monitor IS included, just is NON-StANDARD as it ALSO INCLUDES SDI which was an added option when purchasing from new.
Changed the original description to make more sense (I hope).

One owner system by the way.

Hey Vidled. Where are you located. I'm in LA and would want to see it before purchasing it. You said is rough and ugly with some rust. Where is the rust and does it affect the functionality of it?

I'm still in NZ for a couple of days.

V-16 is still available, and it will be offered "first-refusal" to the first person who responded, then the next, etc.

By the way, rusts is minimal, restricted to the bolts, and the springs have some rust also. Functionality sems completely unaffected by this, and it's purely cosmetic. Some CRC/WD40 should probably be applied, and needs a good cleaning.
