OH MAN! I get all tingly seeing that again!

That was so amazing!!!!!!

For people who don't know... that F-15 did a nice 10 minute routine, flying by beyond the speed of sound. He just kept ripping through the sky.

And then this little prop plane (I forget the actaul name), joined him in the sky and these two planes flew around together, "hand in hand" for several minutes. It was such a great salute to the past and the present in aviation.

Just amazing!

I was so bummed that I was dumping footage at that time and couldn't grab this shot myself!

Indeed it was amazing... The prop plane is a P-51 Mustang :)

Ted, didn't you get these pics from me, or not yet? If not, I can give you a CD with them in Jan!

No, I don't believe you gave them to me. That would be awesome for me to have!!!

And thanks for reminding me that was a P-51... I should have known that!

Yeah... from what Rob told us... the F-15 would be going super slow, and the P-51 would be cranking at full-speed.
 
Oh yeah... welll.... I'm going to space to get some footage for my flick. BTS coming soon of me getting into the space shuttle.

Yeah Larry, it must have been weird for him. And it must have been so hard to keep his plane steady at such a snails pace. It was so damn cool.
 
Yea...it'd be like cruising in the fast lane at 90-100MPH (not that I would do that) and then having someone pull in front of you going 50.
