London skyline timelapse.....went a bit wrong but still...

hi there,

just did a test last week of the timelapse function on my HVX200e and was impressed....shame I didn't account for reflections, steam and strange fogs. But hey its nice to see The Thames in a timelapse....

going to attempt another one this week with more sucess I hope....

Still looked pretty sweet. Once the lights came on in the city it looked even better.
Get rid of the reflections and you'll have something there. :)

Agree with the above. I really did not enjoy watching you type at your comp. and doing something with another person in the room. Also teh smoke near the window is WAY disctractive, and would have been better if you did not have it in the frame.

Surjones.....thanks for the critque as I never even noticed that stuff....haha....and that ain't me typing, I'm 8 floors downstairs in an edit suite.

it loks liek these commercials they did in Istanbul for the Istanbul Bienal, it was these time lapses of the Shiping lanes... so cool.

were you able to get this much of a timelapse without changing the battery? if not, does changing the battery and then re-recording where you left off look that noticeable?

Filmboy, I left the camera for about 45mins for the timelapse, didn't have to change the battery. Not sure I'd want to change battery half way through a timelapse as the camera position would most probably change.

alright, well hopefully i won't have to change the battery. or i can plan on shooting from indoors.

did you set your timelapse to record every 2 seconds or every 5 seconds?

ahhh dreary London... I miss it sometimes. Very nice looking timelapse.

The battery on the HVX lasts a good good long while...
