Mark and Ted's Excellent Adventure in Drama

Sorry.... "strike" is a theatre term... when you strike a show, you are "taking it down."

Oh, no.... I am not going to talk about the mirror. Not me. Nope!

That is Mark and Kevin's puppy!

Thanks :) haha

I always hated strike.

I got some catching up to do on this thread. When Ted is in L.A., that means stuff is happening, and this thread blows up.

Later,
Jason

Ah, guys, we're going to take the grip stuff back to Wooden Nickel in Hollywood. Then we've got to get the truck back here to Rancho Cucamonga. Hopefully we can get some frames up later this evening (they look great).

Bullis!!! Sorry to be out of touch, man. I just now got your messages. I'll be calling you shortly. I am so sorry to have forgotten you in the midst of this stuff!

Hello TTN. Looking for a call from Mark. Somebody grab his arm please? Glad to see you all are having a blast. Thanks a bunch. Scott
Hey Bullis! I got his arm right here! What do you want to do with it? (BTW, if you want Mark, he went to the beer store and will be back shortly! )

Looking forward to seeing you again!

Hey B-man, looking forward to catching up with you in person tonight!!!

We are off to Hollywood to return our Grip Rental! Oh joy, rapture!

Talk to you after we return the truck!

DANG! I still can't sleep! I went out... watched the sunrise.... monitored the light for our January shoot (which is a "morning setting") and reflected on the great shoot.

I have to, HAVE TO spread some love and kudos to David and Tom. Crew is expected to work crazy hours... and when we spend an hour making something right, it feels like 10 minutes. But for actors, an hour feels like 2 hours (at least!).

But David and Tom never once grimaced or complained. Not even a heavy sigh. And when I was saying goodnight and good job and thank you to them, they were both appreciative for being allowed to do what they love and that the late and long hours were all about making a movie and "there is nothing like making a movie!" They both said that.

How much better can this be?

During my apologies and thanks, they responded with... You gotta get it right. You HAVE to get it right. And that is what they were there for. And that is what we did.

We got it right!

Thanks Tom!

Thanks David!

You are both incredible troupers and actors!

Thank you. Our film will benefit from your attitude and energy!

-Ted

Hey Ted,

I've got to say I think you did a fantastic job last night. I really appreciate the detail that you put into the film... from the major things like framing the shots all the way down to which pictures look right on what part of the wall.

Staying that late didn't bother me a bit. I really wanted you to get exactly what you wanted, since you have such a passion for this filmmaking stuff. That and the fact that you're putting in so much travel time.

I'm looking forward to many projects together!

Haha Sounds good! I just mapquested directions... I've got a nice drive ahead, hehe.

MARK, TED, BLAINE, TIM, PAUL and KEVIN...

I left my jacket and scraf on the set last night along with a few make-up items. Didn't anyone picks those up?

What kind of idiot doesn't pull over to a gas station when the gas gauge reads 'E'?

Perhaps Ted and Mark were still batty from last night's shoot but I just got a call from those guys that they ran out of gas on the way to take back the rental equipment. AND THEY'RE WALKING TO FIND A GAS STATION...

I'm sure they'll have a story to tell when it's all over ...:Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)

I bet Ted makes a detour to an IN-N-OUT...

ROFL! Now that's funny! If they wait long enough, I'll be heading out there and could get some gas for em' ROFL!

somehow the story will include eating tacos, a bottle of the 'Royal', crossdressing and
strippers with bad boob jobs that stole the truck...

...followed by gun shots.
