hey guys, here is new music video for a band called Kazy based in Chicago. Me and a buddie of mine from Cali directed this. We had alot of good people help us during the two day shoot, so I wanna throw some props there way just in case they see this. Thanks!

I put a warning just to be safe. Never know I guess.

GREAT! Look and lighting! What did you use to light it? Any pictures on setups? And did you use a 35mm adaptor?

Very nice editing and lighting!

good ****. What was the budget if you dont mind me asking? Was that film stock you overlayed?

another winner!

you make some awesome badass videos my friend.

My sentiments exactly! How are you pumping these out so quickly? You're really starting to make me feel like a lazy, untalented fool over here ;)

Wasn't it you that had an idea to make a "how to shoot a music video" video? I'd love to see it... or even buy it.

I don't know what to say... I want to know how you did everything. Seriously, put out a good tutorial. Excellent work, man!

Wow man, you have impressed me time after time with your excellent music video skills. Everything from framing, to editing, to lighting, to CC was EXUBARANT! ( probably not how its spelled )

What shutter speed did you use for the majority of the shoot?

BUT THAT HAVING BEEN SAID

and please take this in a friendly encouraging way:

You have soo much potential in this field, but what im seeing from you is the same ol " Sex sells, quick shots of band playing" Now this may be what the band wanted, or maybe what the song relates to......

I know this is the mainstream right now, but i would love to see all of your skill, technique and experience be put into a new type of work.

Keeping in the style of music videos, what can you bring to this art that has not already been done? In the most positive way i can put it, after watching this video i felt like saying " wow" However part of me was saying ive seen all this before. Even though you wree able to pull it off 10 fold, its still nothing new. And i pray for you to reach out to something that has not yet been done, because you have the skill required. But honestly, try something new, i would kill to see something evolve from your work, but as it is, its just extremely well executed, but the same pop style regurtitation that i see from most/all modern music videos

peace brotha.

Technical excellence, but I was both waiting for and disappointed by the end. She's dreaming, she wakes up. Oh. I thought there'd at least be some zip like bruises on her neck or wrists, bootprints on the floor, or something to carry some Twilight Zone-ish wonder past the end of the video. Now that I've said it, it still sounds trite, so you have to go a step beyond, as PaPa said. Not just bootprints. Maybe it's Dad, maybe it's an animal, maybe it's a nerd. Blood on the bed would be in keeping with the current theme, but perhaps too graphic. Maybe she's covered with a sheet and pulls out her underwear in shreds. Did she do that? Maybe she looks in the mirror, sees no reflection. Cut to her hand, bloody, pulling away from oozing bite marks on her neck. Maybe she wakes up...and then wakes up again, only it's a guy doing the dreaming. Freaky maybe, but different. One of you guys dreamed this up...so it does happen. Push the story envelope any way you can.

yo Tizzy, yea im in Charlotte.. im shooting these abroad, Im actually in cali now wrapping another one up... for Eric Sharwtz's chocolate coins. Same guy who did white hurr, i dunno if anyone saw that or not. but yea.

Papa,

I shot 1/120 shutter speed and 1/250 on some. As for the video, obivously if I had full control I would try to do something different.. when u have a situation where the artist is paying for everything.. you have to cater to his ideas..blah..blah all that good stuff. But for myself I would like to have a vid like this under my belt just to have it.

thx for all the comments guys. This was shot on my banged up letus.. the budget ..I have no idea about it. We used alot of chinaballs for lighting, the lead singer was a photographer so we had some lighting equipment, tons of softboxes

What was so Rated PG-13 about that? And as good as your work is, I'm kind of tired of seeing this Emo music out of you. Emo's are boring. I feel that with the quality of YOUR work, you could do even BETTER stuff in DIFFERENT genres. ANY other Genre as a matter of fact. Unless THAT'S the type of music you listen to, then be my guest and do you by all means. Me, I'm more into southern Cal rock (Panic! @ The Disco, Blink 182) and all Hip-Hop/Rap (Jay-Z, Eminem). Their videos have better, more interesting colorful imagery than a bunch of color black and old jails and wheatfields and graveyards and ****.
