Recording Sound to Camera takes up more P2 Room?

Hey everyone. I was wondering when recording sound with picture (any sort, camera mic or line or boom etc), does the sound take up a large portion of the storage space on the p2?

we are shooting a feature at 1080i 24pn on (2) 4 gig cards and i'm trying to do as little stopping on set to download as possible.

It shouldn't make a difference. I always get a gig a minute with 1080 and 2.5 minutes in 720.
There is no pn mode in 1080, by the way. Only 1080i/24p or 24pa, or 30p, or 60.
pn mode is reserved for 720

You cannot turn off the audio record function of the camera anyway. It always records audio. Depending on what mode you're in, sometimes it will record 2 channels other times 4 channels.
