Well in this case i wouldnt think that that would be your best bet i bought my camera from fotoconnection AN THEY HAVE A GREAT PRICE not only that but if you place your order by phone they throw in extra discounts and sometimes epedite your shipping ive made about 20 purchases from them already and i have no complaints try em out :thumbup:

I've heard terrible things about fotoconnection as well. you'll notice that hockeybooza joined today, and that was his first post. He probably has connections with the company and is trying to boost their sales. You'll see this a lot in the company rating sites a lot: a crap load of bad complaints and then those 2 or 3 positive reviews probably from people that work at the company.

I'm glad hockeybooza signed onto DVXuser with their very first post to tell us that resellerratings is wrong because he bought 20 things from them with zero trouble.
I think I'm going to go get that $400 D80 now.
Out of 276 lifetime reviews they have a 17.5% satisfaction rating. (1.75 out of 10)
As a referrence B&H has a 93.4% rating with over 2600 reviews.

Oh man oh man! Thanks guys! I hope I was one of the first 5 purchasers because then I get that BR-HD50 free! Man I was so excited just to get a $5500 HD cam for only $600!!! But now I'm really excited because I think I'm going to get the BR-HD50 deck... which is normally three grand... for FREE!!!

It's hard to say for sure....resellerratings has them at 203556 x VERY DISSATISFIED and 3 x SATISFIED. So that means that you very well could be number 4 on that SATISFIED list! The odds are even [slightly] better than the Tri-State Lottery!

The only reason I registered here is to thank you guys for the heads-up; I was tempted to buy from these century fellows as well, luckily I did my research and stumbled upon this site.

We just placed an order yesterday for a Nikon D80 Kit. We were asked to call to confirmed the order which we did. They asked if we wanted to get the warranty on the camera and I said that I would just have the factory warranty. They told us that there was no factory warranty... I asked what? On your web page it says "USA Warranty"! I was informed that it was a USA WARRANTY by the store for 7 days only. What a bunch of BS... So misleading, They are selling Gray market cameras and trying to make you think it is a USA camera.
I canceled the order and I'm going to tell everyone I can to stay away from this bogus outfit. I also had a friend that was buying a D200 Kit, which is also being cancelled.
