NEXT LA DVXUser meeting Sat. 9/16 3PM!

Need a 100B shooter with his/her camera in the LA area for a pilot on baseball umpire camp. Shoot is from this Thursaday until following Wednsesday (November 9th) and the usual promise of pay if something happens with project. I'm working for free and never rely on those promises because they usually don't pan out. However, this producer is an Emmy winner and good way to get in with him and he wil remember you. I've known him for almost 30 years.

Good experience, great subject and producer is really nice. I will be shooting as well with my 100B.

Need to have you call me right away.

Bwahahaha...the attitude will be directly proportional to the quantity of beer available...

Looks like this has kind of died out. I'm still interested. If anybody else wants to get together on the Westside I could put something together at my place in Santa Monica.

My place is small but could get about 8 or 9 people in comfortably. I know people in the SM police department so we won't have the same problems we had with the LAPD at the last meetings in the valley. I can't afford to keep posting bail.

So, if people are interested and can suggest some kind of an agenda and a specific reason or topic to get together I could play host on a Saturday or Sunday.

Let me know and make a suggestion as to a goal for the get together.

And, since we don't like to drive, around here, I'll offer my place in Silverlake, for a 10-15 person (if that many are interested) meet, sometime in say, January. Large screen if anyone wants to show stuff (NTSC/standard def; sorry), eateries, etc in walking distance). If you happen to live within what you feel is a manageable distance, from the Silverlake/downtown/Glendale/Burbank area.

Westsiders, etc, need not apply. Got your own group, I hear.
