So...you get stuck on a island over turkey day alone...and can only have one movie with you to watch on your laptop for the weekend....

Whats yours?

Me-- Id have the two disc special edition of fight club.

A close second is Full Metal Jacket

But the tip top for me would be Fight Club.

The only way fight club couldve been a better movie for me would be replace Helena Botam Carter with Jessica Alba. I think HBC did an Amanzing job, but I wouldnt mind looking at Jessica Alba.....

I love that movie, David. It seems like I catch something new on each watching. Definitely my favorite comedy of all time.

^^^^ OMG the arrival of the US Marines, in 'The Wind and the Lion...' great stuff.

"Your President Rooseveldt is a dangerous man...and you, Colonel, are crazy."

"Yes, sir!"

I think...Terry Gilliam's Brazil.

And the DVD release, at the time, raised the bar for what a special edition DVD ought to be, and it was a long time before anything else touched it.

I gave 'Ghostbusters' this huge buildup to my wife; somehow she made it through the 80s without having seen it...

...and for me, it didn't hold up very well. But I'm glad that others are still enjoying it as much as I used to.

I have several movies I thought were great when I first saw them but didn't stand the test of time...but Ghostbusters ain't one of them...:Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)

I know your guys will probably put me in the "sissy" category ,

I love Garden State. It's a great indie flick.

"Your forehead says BALLS" LOL. And I don't mind staring at Natalie Portman through the film ;)

I'm with CMessineo with JAWS. It just shouldn't be that good, but it's one of the best studies in pacing and character development. I mean, come on, a cop that's afraid of the water that lives on an island. Brilliant.

Another would be BRAZIL or DELICATTESSEN or CITY OF LOST CHILDREN.
