OK - I want to view something I record in super slow mo. i.e., a golf club contacting the golf ball kind of a thing. Is there where I use 60i...and where the heck is it? I followed some advice regarding setting up scenes but still can only find 24, 24a and 30p. I am useng FCP for editing. Could someone please help me and prolong the life of my camera?

Right...been there and followed those instructions, read the DVX Book, watched the DVD from the DVX Book, read the Owner's manual and still no 60i. I am not in a hurry to get this project done so a reply after Thanksgiving is fine with me, I appreciate the quick first response. Have a good Thanksgiving and shoving things in a turkey's ass.

hi-
you won't see a 60i setting in the dvx menu, it's automatically in 60i when you turn Progressive OFF. so just turn progressive off and BAM, you're in 60i.

We've been feeding our turkey cornbread for a month now to prep it.

Do ya think it's gonna help?

Happy T day all

Ahhh, you must have the rare "Progressive Only" DVX-Q.
Seriously, I don't know what else to tell you, but heres a step by step. Heck I'll even do the math for you. First turn your scene dial to F1. This should already be on interlace by default, that is unless you have the DVX-Q.
Now, on the side of the viewfinder press the button that says "menu"
Next move your finger to the "=" button, Press it in once, you are now in the Scene File for F1
Next, press the "=" button from above 13x if you are using the 100A, not sure how many times if you are using the "B", but push it until you get to something that says "Progressive".
Now push the "=" button in until the "Off" is highlighted.
Finally this is really important, make sure you save your setting, Idon't really feel like going through the steps on that one.

Now, if this doesn't work, you must really have the DVX-Q so forget about it.
