FS-100 Clip Length at 2:18:03

Is the longest clip you can record on an FS-100 2:18:03? That is the longest clips I can record before it creates a new clip.

That is the maximum file size. But the FS-100 will link those clips together to make for continous playback.

Correction Barry; the FS-100 doesn't do the clip spanning, your NLE has to do that. For playback in camera, the FS-100 still doesn't actually span the clip, just plays them all back to back, they're still seperate clips.

It is hoped, and I'm pushing Focus on this issue, that when 3.0 firmware goes public and it records QuickTime and QuickTime Native formats, they will add clip spanning soon afterwards.
