The framegrabs looked good! I wished you had provided a more interesting background though to check for edge to edge sharpness. Nevertheless, I'm loving what I'm seeing so far! Currently waiting for the video to download.

I'm not too concern about the follow focus. I'll hold my breath about buying the SgPro rev2 till I see footage from PL mount lenses! lol It's eventually the setup which I would ideally use for projects and so I would like to see how it performs.

Great work Wayne!!

p.s. Does that mic belong to you? It's a great mic doesnt it? lol

Oh my!

Finally saw the video and may I say this? It's picture perfect! Creative is the word how the whole video was made and I absolutely love the low angle shots of the microphone and the lamp. Those 2 shots were the most film-like in my opinion.

I did notice some black "swirls" and a little noise in some of the shots. Could be from compression? I'm just nitpicking though lol.

(p.s. This video looks like a good ad for Blue microphones. Why dont you sell the video to them or something? lol)

Thanks a lot Luzer!

Yes, this bluebird is mine. I love it!

The black "swirls" and the noise in some shots are due to the effects that i have used. So, no compression issue. Do you think that is sooo good that i could sell it to blue? Personally, i'm not so sure :)

Stunning.

With essentially zero lighting, you blew me away. Great editing, nice music, cool title font, and I watched it three times. I was sure you had some amazing light kit. This footage is making that adapter look pretty nice...

What did you do the CC in? That blue looked great.

JC

Thank you King Cole very much!
Editing (and cc) done in FCP. Mostly magic bullet filters.

Yea, why not?! lol
Overlay some music and VO and maybe intercut them with a band jamming or a vocalist singing, it makes a good 1 minute spot I'm sure! lol

WOW. Some nice looking footage. Some of the nicest I've seen from an adapter. What does this cost in US dollars? Will it come with a kit... follow focus, rods, etc?

Wasn't there supposed to be an adapter shoot off? Did this ever happen?

Wow
That is nice man...

Glad to se, that you used Carl Zeiss ZF lenses. Have got both the 50m 1.4 and the amazing 85mm 1.4 my self. Have been using them on my JVC HD100 for some product shots, and must say... they are wonderful. Have also been using Nikon lenses, but the Zoerk converter I use does not let me keep the focal length, but gives the lenses x7!

I am in the proces of making a brand new nuendosan converter for JVC HD100 and Canon XL H1 that will take almost any 35 mm lense out there. It will start shipping (hopefully) start 2007. It will come with exchangeable front mounts for Nikon F, Canon and PL mounts - but other mounts will come as the you guys start using the adapter.

It will be tested ruggedly during a production tour to South Africa, Egypt and Norway.

Best wishes
nuendosan

Excellent footage Theodoros.I love the light and the atmospheric mood you've done.
I agree it's one of the best sample footage for adapters.
Kala gyrismata me tin HVX200!

Hi there,

Very clean footage and nicely lit - 2 questions.

1. Is the Sg pro r2 sharp at the point of focus at hi def? any artifacts (chromatic aberration etc)?

2. What stop combos did you use on the system as it seems to work for nice depth plus super sharpness at the focal plane.

Thanks

James

No offense but I kept waiting for the main guy to take off his clothes and really give us poses. He appears a little too suggestive in some of those shots. lol

All else being said though, good looking footage. The cigarette shot was second to none.
