I submitted all my info, and I got a success page, so I guess it went through, but I haven't recieved a conformation email or anything and its been a couple days. Are you supposed to recieve an acceptance / rejection email at all?

All I have been doing is going back to the start page and click on check status of rebate.
It will likely give you a processed date and say that the check has not been printed yet.

Estimated mail date is 4-6 weeks after process date.

but that asks for a confirmation number, and like Goddard all I got was a success screen ... no confirmation number or email.

You don't have to enter a confirmation # or s#. I just enter all of the other info. I think you only have to enter one of the pieces of info and your zip

Ignore the first two fields and enter any or all of the others. You must enter your zip code in addition to one or all of the above.

It will give you the status. Though it probably won't say much, though you will know your conf. # after that

Actually, there was a problem, for some reason my rebate didn't go through.
You should definitely get a confirmation number. I reentered my request today and it seems to be fine.

Here's a screengrab of the "Success" screen after I submitted the first time.
Notice that the "request #" i.e. "confirmation #" is blank - that's a problem.

If you get this screen on completion or you can't find your rebate status with just your email and zipcode, then they don't have it, and you should re-enter.

You should get a screen just like the above but with a confirmation # between "No." and the comma.

My status has changed. My process date was changed to 11/22, and the status changed from "check not yet printed" to "fulfillment in process" for both of my rebates.

Others seeing similar?

So, I am wondering if the 11/22 date that everyone got with the now "fulfillment in process" status means that the cards/books were mailed on that date. Or if it means that the applications have been officially reviewed and accepted, and mailing will be soon. Doesn't really matter I guess.

It says "checks are usually mailed within 4 - 6 weeks of the process date."

I know this isn't a check per se but I bet a nickel to a ginger cookie that the process date isn't the mail date. I bet the process date is just the date it's rubber stamped as a valid request to begin the processing.

Next accounting has to get the heads up and cut a check, or the warehouse has to get the request and send out the stock, or in the case of Barry's Books I imagine the drop shipper has to get the request and then process.

All of that's conjecture, but I doubt the process date is the mail date.

Sounds right to me. The question is the process date the original 11/9 that I had, or the new 11/22. It doesn't matter. It would be a great x-mas present to have by then though

I am happy for all you guys getting a free 8GB card. To me that only indicates that in fact the cost price of those cards is not that high as Panasonic tries to make believe us. Probably it is only a few hundred dollars.
