Yes! I got my internet to work! -- I just spent the last 15 minutes recapping (and I have to get up in 5 hours to work!)

Let me just say, first... JDS AND MARK ROCK!!! Those speculation photos were the funniest thing I've seen all week!!! Mad props to all of you! -- Mark, if you look hard enough, you'll find a couple threads where I explicitly said what it was and if you look even harder you'll learn that another dvxuser (i can't remember who...) actually FOUND the original photo that I stole from a google image search (ha!) That picture is just a stand-in until we snap a photo to use sometime during one of our shoots. We're still in production, so...

Ted, man, I can't wait to meet you in January. I think I am going to make a point of saying that every day until the time comes. Quick question, what musical instruments can you play? Anyone? What talents do the DVXusers have other than filmmaking!!??

Mark, I'm telling you, you gotta convince your parents to give you a free day to come visit me in Nebraska ;)

First of all, I love all 3 songs, especially 'I miss you' and 'The luckiest'.

A)I MIss You - man this was so ****ing interesting because you were acting in this one and i think you were seriously acting. Ok, you 're no Meryl Streep when crying but still not many people will go to such lengths just for the fun of it. :thumbup:

B)All The Small THings - this one had some really great moments that you put to make it more videoclip-like. Like some cuts or some stuff like you appearing on that turtle. And you certainly got the 'silly teenage song, let's all do silly stuff on camera'. :thumbup::thumbup:

C) The Luckiest - I couldnt believe that you chose this one to be honest. I dont know how well know ben folds (five) are in the states but I thought not many people knew them. I LOVE THIS ONE! It's a parody but I love the song so much, it's one of my favourite romantic melodies. PROPS on the photos of the old couple using the XX to show they're dead, though it brought back Rekindled memories...and very funny the last bit with the keyboard as you lean over and fall, did it happen on purpose?
 
Lol, I'll respond in greater detail later this after noon, John, but for now I'll just say thank you for the kind words! These videos were just created on a whim and there was really no rhyme or reason to them... just goofing off.

I'll create another thread for them today so, if anyone wants, we can discuss them there.

Dude, you ROCK!!!! I'm a Blink 182 fan and I am totally stoked over your vids!!! When you come out if we have time we'll go over to a little club that has a good open jam session with a big old honking Hammond B3 that I love to play. You on drums and me on keys ... sweet!

We had a great preproduction meeting last night and we picked up a new member of the team that many people on this thread will know. A future Variety article will no doubt have the scoop!!

After some great wine and even better scotch I trundled back into the city. Since I have a flight to catch and got my second wind I stayed up all night working on some work stuff at the Kinkos in Pasadena (where I am right now in fact). Now, I'm just biding time til the Starbucks across the street opens.

Say, Kyle, that Strat looked like a knock-off. Is it an ibanez or what?
 
Well, since Kyle posted his music videos I wanted to post one of my old band videos. Unfortunately, there ain't any on the hard drive I have with me BUT I did find a rather bizarre drunken performance on a friend's piano (you can tell my friend shooting the footage is even more intoxicated than I am). Pretty scary. I think this is Hey Bartender from the Blues Brothers Movie ....
