just wanted to see how popular this camera is. i got one and love it so.
did not really need the 24p so i got a real good camera for less.
just let me know how you feel about this great camera
 
i love my 80!! between the the wide angle, polarizer, warm cards and file settings the video looks great. ive never seen 24p but id hope my video looks just as good.
 
Im deciding between spending less and getting a new DVC80 w/ accessories (they are out there), or spending more and getting a dvx100 w/out any accessories. Since you guys own them, what do you think?

That ALL depends on what you're planning on shooting, my friend.
 
thats true it depends on what you shoot. i shoot weddings and parties so my 80 suits me fine. although the 100b is def tempting.
 
I thought the B was just a really dark grey. Correct me if i'm wrong.
If there is a black one just check if there is an edit/search and record button right above the lcd. If there is its a dvc80 cause panasonic took it out of the 100B series.
