Well, I just went over the actual different locations. I think I'd have to say 24. However, in one location we have setups in 5 different rooms. And in a couple of other locations we also talking about multiple setups. It's definitely a challenge.

Courtney's contributions to this project are significant.
 
I will be posting a cast list early in the week. There are two offers out right now that haven't been accepted, but if it all works as I plan, we will have a pretty good list of serious talent involved. All will be current working actors (most with either current episodic, commercials and/or films running).

This one is almost certainly going to be a non compete due to guild rules about DVD usage, but I need to get a clear picture of this from Jarred before deciding one way or another. I really wish that I could have convinced them to take into account how their approach would effect those of us who want to use professional actors.

I used professional actors in my sci-fest entry and plan on using several in my dramafest entry. Please explain why the DVD thing affects that?

Yes, if I can afford her! Seriously, I am using all guild actors and I am doing this under a SAG contract so everyone will be properly paid and all the guild rules will be followed (she wouldn't work on it if it wasn't done right, she is very protective of her status and meter in the industry). They don't give you any room for allowances, even for family members.

Yeah, its a lot of setups and a lot of locations. This may seem absurd given the running time, but once everyone sees the final result it should all make sense as to why we did it the way that we did.
 
Cool stuff. I think for a 6 min. short the SAG contracts are a little extreme... just me... Unless you want to do more with this.

Sorry this response is gonna be short as I gotta run right now, 9:30 AM call time...

I will be happy to answer this in detail later, but perhaps this isn't something that should be done in an open, public forum. Suffice to say, the way that these fests are run go right up against the signatory contracts in a number of areas.

Will be posting cast information (including IMDB links) this evening. All but one role is now cast and I am really happy about the talent that we landed!
