Noa/Rice Digital Presents: "Checkmate"

Don't worry Larry. Every director fancies himself a writer...

Funny. I'm not sure where I could classify myself with that one, since I started writing first before directing, but now typically have others that I KNOW can write better than me do it instead. Maybe once I figure it out, I'll have someone else direct for me as well. That'll put me back to Producer only, which is what I had kind of started out (after writing) thinking I would do.

Geez, I love the fact that with filmmaking you can do SO many different things, if you put your mind to it.

Yeah, I actually started writing before I even had a glimpse or thought of filmmaking... writing is what propelled me into this stuff...

I am super excited to work with David! This will actually be the 2nd film we work together on, as he's starring in another short I shoot in two weeks. He brings a lot to this film! Can't wait!
That's fantabulous!!!! Congrats. I hear MANY wonderful things about David.

The thing that I love about filmmaking is that it requires so many talents to make a film. And the better you are equipt in all facets, the more likely you are to produce something spectacular. Not that you are the one to pull off all of the tasks but that you are in-tuned with each department.

Oh, thanks Brandon, I'd be happy to edit it for him...:Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)

I, uh, just wanted to exercise my duties as the unofficial proofreader for dvxuser, and let Ted know that he double-posted one of his replies. Granted, the second reply added a sentence... the repetition was still completely unnecessary.

I hope to god no one finds spelling errors in my posts... that would ruin my life and my reputation.

Kyle,

Is "uh" a word?

also it would be "let Ted know that he posted one of his replies twice" "double-posted" is not a word, I don't think.
