FOR SALE:
2 x SE300B AKG microphone bodies (currently $349 at B&H new)
2 x ck91 AKG cardioid capsules (currenlty $249 EACH at B&H new)
2 x ck93 AKG hypercardioid capsules (currently $249 EACH at B&H new)
Pelican 1040 Case that holds everything safe and secure
NOTE: If you purchase a SE300B body and a ck91 (or ck93) cap together at B&H, they cut you a $120 break on each combination, so it's $478 for both a body and cap together new at B&H today (then times two b/c I have a stereo pair).
I've got the upgrade bug, and I am moving up to AKG's 480 ULS line after using this pair of excellent AKG Bluelines for about a year now. These have been babied by me the entire time I have owned them (kept in small virtually bombproof Pelican case when not used and always handled carefully and placed in quality shockmounts when in use). They were used mostly for music recording using stereo-pair techniques like XY, DIN, DINA, NOS, ORTF, etc., but I also used the hypers on occasion for interrior dialog/boom work at times too. Both mic bodies and all four capsules/elements are in perfect working order, but do have the typical small amount of cosmetic wear and tear on their exteriors from field use.
Considering that 2 bodies and 4 caps retail at B&H for $1,454 (that's using their pricing of $478 for a cap-body combo plus another $249 for the additional cap, then times two for the stereo pair), and considering they work perfectly, I'd like to get a reasonable offer, but feel free to make me any offer you want.
Also, I would like to sell this as a package, but I may be willing to split it up...
