Round 10 - DVXUser Photography Challenge

Additional information concerning the contest's voting engine:

1) Please take care while voting, once you submit your vote you can't change it. Review each photo carefully before voting.

2) Voting has a save state. You can vote i.e. for the 4 first ones and drop by later or tomorrow to vote for the others. But please do vote for all images to be fair.

Oh boy, just a few hours before the deadline, and allready a few hours past my bed--time, and I've finally got a chance to sit down and pic some photos...

Since this contest started; I've taken 1103 (!) photos in 4 countries, from St Petersburg to Copenhagen. And I get to pick 3 to enter. This is going to take a while.

One question about filenames for upload. Are they case-sensitive? "mikkowilsonOriginal1.jpg" or "mikkowilsonoriginal1.jpg"? or does it matter?

Darn it. Why am I just finding out about this now? 3 hours is not enough time... and that tablet looks awesome.

More word of mouth next time, please :(

Theres a banner at the top of DVXUser, 10 people have banners in their signature, there was a post in the cafe...

What more do you want?

Registered and tried to login but says "Wrong Input". Tried to have resend password (just in case I somehow screwed it up) but that link goes nowhere. What's the problem? (perhaps problem is that you cannot login until voting starts?)

Okay, I just spent what seems like the last hour voting then I click "Submit Voting" and it just takes me to the login page, even though I was already logged in. WTF?? So I log in, and nothing happens. So I go back on my browser and all my scores are cleared. Did all my votes get whiped??

Wow... just wow... The voting system is amazing. Mad props to whoever came up with that.

Steve developed the new voting system and it is brilliant and completely kills the previous 0-5 system that we were using. Overall it is simple, fast, and deep enough that it allows comments as well as comprehensive voting on all the images. Thank you Steve for the hard work and great system that you have come up with!

Not sure if you've thought this far ahead (I'm sure you've been busy with this round), but do you plan to use this new system for the "non-epic" rounds also? I'm not talking about the before/after photos, but just the voting system.

Hey guys don't mention. I'm glad to offer something to the community!
Good news is that there are not any major bugs in the software, everything goes smoothly.

But take care with voting as not to run in the same problem that shawneous encountered. Try making your vote decision under 24 minutes, after that you are automatically "kicked out" from the server, due to inactivity. That's something I can't change for now.
