Hi guys...I'm writing this on my Treo'. Ted and I are at a pretty incredibly cool event that we won't divulge other than to say it is related to the Needle story. We're going to shoot some B-roll tomorrow and look forward to B-man arriving in the morning. We'll post more tonight when we get to our hotel.
 
OMG! I LOVE SoCal!!!

Mark and I have had a fantastic bout of auditions in Upland and are now in Thermal for another day of shooting.

Upon our arrival, we were greeted by a pair of golf carts that drove us to a celebration party! We were fed incredible food, entertained by live music and offered free beer and wine!!!

(Wow! Do ALL film-makers get this treatment???)

Tomorrow, we shoot again but this time we are joined by Brandon Rice!!!

Woo-Hoo!!!

We're living the dream!!!

PS - I know that this may not be appropriate.... but I have the BEST audition story to share. (I am sure that MANY of you will enjoy this!) It is going to take me a little time to prepare this but it is worth the wait!!! :)

Okay, okay... this is great. I wish that I had this "audition bit" ready for you all but It is too late and is requiring 3 programs to pull this all together.

But I am telling you it is funny.

Let's just say, I am calling it, "The 'F' Bomb!"

(some of you may remember a little film I did before I changed my name and came to California that featured the classic "f bomb..." well, here is another!

But you are going to have to wait until I get back to the hotel tomorrow.

We've got pics and a number of technical questions that we'll get to you tonight. By the time we got back to the hotel last night I wasn't able to keep my eyes open (though Ted seems to have a prodigous ability to keep rolling even though he's the one on East Coast time). So, whenever we're back here tonight I'll shoot you some stuff via e-mail.

We're gonna find out what kind of freebie breakfast one can get at the luxurious Holiday Inn Express.

If you're reading the thread, Diane, .... HI! Your husband is behaving himself and working hard. Thanks for lending him to the project!

Congratuations, Ted. Looks like we were even able to provide you with an earthquake or two while you were out here.

EDIT: It was tiny, though...3.5 at Mt. Baldy. If you look north from Cable Airport, you'll basically be looking at Mt. Baldy. It's pretty close.
