Mark and Ted's Excellent Adventure in Drama

Actually, we're broke as hell, Conrad. Seriously. However, I put Ted on as assistant for a forensic case in Chino to underwrite the trip. We'll go down there and do driver POV plates for a re-enactment of a collision and basically use the proceeds to fund Ted's trip. Most of my forensic cases actually require an assistant so it's a cool way to be able to travel using the client's dime.
 
Hey man, tell me about the screening. Seriously. Was this that selection of HorrorFest entries? Was yours included? Spill the deets Contrad!
 
The screening was fantastic, All of the entries were slammin' good on the big screen. Dear Jane was one of the films screened as the screening was the top ten dvx films, and we were 7th. Mark Harris put it on, and did an outstanding job, that dude is full of charisma. He was also kind enough to let us crash at his place a couple of nights and show us around a little. all in all, it was a great success. I also got to meet a bunch of dvxusers in the flesh, very cool. No Ted Arabian though, quite a dissapointment.
 
Man, that rocks. Congrats to you, dude. It's pretty amazing to just have the experience of seeing YOUR work on a big screen in the apple. Whoa!

That's so friggin' cool.

Ted is everything you'd expect him to be. Enthusiastic, articulate and funny. Oh, and one of the endearing things is the way he stays in touch with his wife, Diane. They have such a great relationship and he speaks so highly of her. ( I sure know a lot of guys who either trash their significant others or simply act as though they don't exist).

I'm gonna throw it together as a quick final edit and call it done. It was mainly for me to get the hang of directing and it served it's purpose.

Tomorrow and Friday from about 8pm on... I've been so freaking busy lately it's not funny... and on top of that my mom is coming on Saturday to visit for a week...
 
Oh she would clean this place up and then I'd feel guilty cause she was and... well... *sigh*

Hey, so when are you guys goint to shoot this thing? You need anyone to crew? Or looking for someone to cast? I'm looking to be in front of the camera for this one, so let me know if you need an actor. :)
