P2 8GB Card in EU-Land now 995 EUR

Thats definitly better then before, but still without VAT(steuern) which is 16% in germany..so dont forget to add this to the price...i want them cheeeaper!!!

Did one order from them in the states?

I was checking the prices in japan, but looks like US is really the cheapest to get right now...!

In Japan i had the problem that no one wanted to ship to europe, anyone knows about u-dealers who ship cards to europe?

I know that i have to pay taxes theoreticly..or do i have to in any case..?
 
Yes you have to pay a little import-tax. I am not sure, but maybe 5% or such. You also have to pay VAT, which you can claim back if you are a company.
I have ordered lots of "simple" stuff from from the states before. Simple are devices like filters, matteboxes, glidecams etc; not cameras, because they have a much higher import-tax.
You can call your local customs-office and they will help you out. The way the dollar is right now (25% under the Euro) you can order in the States and after shipping and taxes are better off still. But don´t order things you might want guarantee on.......

I will order my P2´s in US for sure if currency-rates and pricedifferences stay the same in the winter.
