How do you get footage back to mini dv

I'm looking at a film fest and they want the footage back onto mini dv. I edited in vegas, can vegas export to my dvx100b as it records? Or do I need to try and contact a business that specializes in this type of stuff?

if anyone knows the answer to this, go for it, but im using premier pro 1.5

if i try exporting to tape, i get jumps every coulple of frames. So going back to tape it pointless for me. always,

And I can do that from my PC to the dvx100? Or do you have to have a tape deck to do something like that?

I am sure that you can output that to your dvx... Personally, I would use a small, cheap DV camera to do this but if all you have is your dvx, then yes... it should work just fine!

Your DVX is fine, Ive done it a bunch of times w/ the ones at my school. But remember, thats going to get lots of hours on your heads if thats all youre using to export to.

I'm using a pv-gs250 (now it's pv-gs350). It' s an excellent second camera, has 3ccds and serves as my dv deck.

I use a deck, well, the schools deck. And decks are awsome...
