Scary moment at the beach - 60p footage-- moved

Another in a growing number of stupid and pointless whacky sketches for my show wrapped this past weekend at Cocoa Beach here in Florida. Was quite a fun shoot and should be an interesting parady.. all except for this horrifying footage which sent me into a giant panic as you'll be able to understand. I'll have the finished piece together by next week. I have been pretty busy shooting so not much time for suring fon here. I've got 8 sketches in the can and plan on having another 20 by Christmas...

The scariest thing about this clip is Mr. Yellow Shorts' bouncing, gooey mid-section. You're right - it is horrifying.

lol... very horrying indeed.... and what's under those birkahs.. truly scary and you'll get to see that during our wet birkah competion...

The camera is totally cool... I did have a filter on the front... but that's little consolation at the time. I freaked out for a while.. but I'm used to shooting at the beach and know the pitfalls of it. I also know and rember not to wipe the lens with my shirt or anything out in the elements as the sand scratches the lens.. My buddy from Desert Storm told me that about shooting stills there and being used to just using his shirt as he's done for 20 years... its a bad thing...


All in all we have a robust cam and I think it can take a lot more than just water.. Shoot that Singer guy's cam has been blown up and hit by radiation and keeps on ticking... But yes! when it got soaked I did a couple of prayers.. turned it off.. took the battery off.. cleaned it all up and fired up like a champ.....
 
unfortunately NOPE... Cleaned the hell out of it though. Would like to get the Gates housing or something hopefully more inexpensive..
