Trailer for spanish short film

WOW! That looked great. Not really my style or genre...but WOW!

Everything from the composition of the images to the sound design was right on. Excellant job.

How much grading was involved? What lenses? Adaptor? Info please.

CHE

Looks cool, I like the black&white to night-color thing in the trailer. When this kicks in it reminded me a little bit of the The Crystal Method from the matrix' soundtrack (in a good way) Would love to see the whole thing.

Thanks CHE, just the stock lens from the camera, CC in Final cut using 3 Way...
For the lighting in the car we used those closet lights that they sell on Target.

Nice job on the trailer, the girls face toward the end reminds me of the grudge or one of the movies.

"Ooohhh DJ Shadow."

Yea I've been a fan since Endtroducing, but what the hell was he thinking with the new album, well I guess money.

This trailer is awesome ! I love the cuts and the sound design.. awesome CC as usual - great work Hans! I love that actor too, he always reminds me of spanish Ben Kingsley..

YOU READ MY MIND COMPLETELY.

He got too mainstream -- Entroducing was the best, man.

Do I smell a thread-jack?

Haha.

I love the editing! Is this 720p or 720pn? What's best to use for when it also has to go to Broadcast TV?
It's 720pn...I think either one, on 720pn all you are doing is recording the native frames of the camera.... And for broadcast I think they want everything on 29.97..
Well that's what I think correct me if I am wrong

So the process should be like this? ( for a filmlike tv commercial)

1. Shoot 720pn ( true 24fps)
2. Edit on 24fps or 23.97fps timeline?
3. Export direct to DVCAM tape at either of the above framrates?

When does the conversion happen to 29.97fps ?

Thanks for any help or advice.

Felicidades, Hansc8. Esta muy bueno. Some of the parts look like 16mm. The only thing I dind't like was 1 or 2 shots where you seem to have used some sort of diffusion effect/filter. But everything else kicks ass.
