Help! Can you open these files in your NLE?

Hey everyone,
I have some test footage shot with a Nokia N95 cellphone as part of a project.

I'm trying to find out what NLE's do and don't support the footage.

It's part of a project that involves uploading and posting video directly to the web from a cellphone. (For those of you who followed my Text Message reports from IBC, this is the next step.) We have a basic system in place that uses some custom software on the phone to allow us to upload directly to a webserver using WiFi, 3G or regular 'old skool' Cellphone networks from essentially anywhere in the world. Bascially video blogging from a cellphone in any location.

Part of this project is determing support for the video format used. It's a type of MPEG4.
So far I've been able to view it in the latest version of Quicktime and of course VLC Player.
No luck with Windows Media Player or Real Player yet.

I have been able to import and edit the video with Premiere Elements 2.0 that came with the phone/camera. (I haven't tested a "normal" release of Elements, this is one I'm paticularly interested in.)
I have NOT been able to import the video into Premiere Pro 2.0, Premiere Elements 1.0, Windows Movie Maker (had to try) or Windows Media Encoder.

I would really like to know if anyone can open & edit the footage in Premiere Elements 2.0, FCP (versions?), iMovie (yes, you heard me), Avid, Etc..

So please grab either (or both) of the files from here:
http://www.mikkowilson.com/files/N95_1.mp4 [3MB] (Interior)
http://www.mikkowilson.com/files/N95_2.mp4 [5.2MB] (Exterior)

And let me know what NLEs they do and don't work in!

It's also a prety good representation of what the top camera phones can shoot now. I'm prety damn impressed at the quality.

Thanks!

Vegas 6 won't see the files on my desktop but will open them using the "open with" thingy. Premiere pro2 want's nothing to do with them. They are quite good for cellphone captures...Scary!

Thanks guys. Prety much answered what I needed to know. :dankk2:

Though it would be nice to hear what Avid thinks too.
