I have just been shooting a short comic book style film over my school holidays with the M2. They have not been colour corrected.

your lighthing looks top knotch!

What kind of lights were you using? Your colors are soo real and vivid. Its difficult to get a picture anything close to that with the dvx ( finding the right saturation but keeping the eye color punchy )

really really nice, i wish i was in that kind of shape......

please give us the details on everything, camera setup, CC if any....
 
Hey thanks for the kind words guys. This is all natural lighting and there has been no colour correction done what so ever. If i had the ime and skills i would love to do the scanner thing but that ain't gonna happen.

the guys is lit perfectly, key light, fills, and a slight backlight around the shoulders.
 
PaPa, I see what you mean and I totally agree. This look is one of the hardest situation to recreate. Just the right amount of saturation, while still keeping the eyes punchy and the tones natural...Ahhh..Congrats.
 
Well it was all natural light. I do not own any lights and would not know what to do with them if i did. The comic book refrence is to do with the story. All will become clear once I finish the film and post that online.
