The Door Between - a story about life and death

Versus, this was an interesting film. It seems like you really put a lot of yourself into it and refused to compromise.

Interesting choice for the soundtrack. Definitely felt exotic and not your everyday hollywood track. I wish it were a bit more subdued.

The story moved a bit slow for me and the filters and colors didn't appeal much to me. I prefer more naturalistic imagery. I know that film is an abstraction of reality, but this was a huge departure from reality in my opinion. Felt almost like an animated/rotoscoped film like Linklater's "A Scanner Darkly".
Not necessarilly a bad thing, but can be jarring.

I liked the guy popping out of the closet and grabbing the main character.

The music video section of this was an interesting choice but again, not my style.

This seemed to run a bit long. I know you didn't want to artificially fit the 6 min constraint but I think it could have been cut down a bit to flow better.

The ending was a bit confusing...

I like the music on the final credits.

An interesting experimental film.

Seeing as how crazy this week has been for most people who tried to view all etc etc, I am really blessed to have gotten comments from -what I consider- the elite of dvxuser and HorrorFest in particular!!!

I want to do something for all of you BUT I have no money to send out in the form of Gift Certificates, and I surely don't have any props or objects to share from my movie (unless you want to get the fake teeth the vampires wore...gross!).
So what I have decided to do is send a copy of the Special DVD we are preparing that will include both movies, extras, photos, bts, blooper, interviews etc etc.
This DVD will most likely be finished by mid-November (that's when I will ship it out to you) so IF you feel like this is something you'd want to have then I will be honoured to send you a copy!!

So please, any of you stated at the top, SEND ME AN E-MAIL AT: j_lahanis@yahoo.gr, Stating if you want to receive the Special DVD next month or NOT! :)

Hey John, real nice touch there! Thank you for acknowledging. I am sorry that list isn't longer. You and Stratos put together a fine film that wasn't to go outside the lines of typical filmmaking and gave us something very interesting and enjoyable to watch.
