I loved "BLOODY MARY' i just had to say great job to all involved. It really captured the horror genre. i've only seen about half the entries so far but bloody mary definitly was the top contender.. I have to say the actors were very realistic and believable. I loved the interaction between the girl and her mother. the erie lighting was also very well executed. i liked the very dark scenes and the very bright scenes, especially the very end when she's in the bathtub and it's very bright and all i could focus on was the red blood and her final question. WOW what an ending !!

Thanks Silvergirl!!!

Yea the last shot was kind of by accident. it was the only part of the film we werent 100% sure of yet. We were thnking about the bath tub, or having her stand infront of the mirror again.... but while Leah was waiting around, she stepped into the bath tub to keep bloodfrom dripping off the floors. I looked at her, then i looked into the monitor, told her to sit down, and got really excited, then called mark over, he started doing his "Yea! YEA YEA YEa YEA" thing. ( when he gets excited he chants yea reallly fast.)

and we shot it and i think its the perfect ending. The film Gods were smiling on us. Good thing i bothered to look at the monitor while she was there.

I was really pleased, thats my favorite shot.

Man, I don't know what's happening on this thread but....

Vasoline, Latex, Crimea Tarter...

I feel I should have knocked or something! Put out a DO NOT DISTURB sign or something!

okay, okay... I'm leaving.

The drift of the current thread over on 5b reminded me, Mark, that I was wondering whether you ever had any qualms about the possibility of offending anyone's sensibilities by mixing up the Virgin Mary -- as a quasi accomplice -- in your twisted tale?

Bloody Mary is in my #1 pick!

I believe that this well-crafted and well-told tale best represented horror in the dvxuser.com horrorfest.

I guess the best "Mary" won.
