very cool, that guy sounds like he's gonna blow, you'll be lucky to have his music video to your name.
 
neat that it is getting noticed... though I don't see what the fuss is about.. looks like a rather bland video to me.

though I do love the large fella just standing there the whole time.. desparately trying to look badass and cool. humorous.

not terrible. not great either.

but ride it all the way to the bank.
 
It's a great track--the guy's gonna go places. As for the video, nothing screams amateur to me. Except you can tell it's done without much "cinema" in mind: mainly a static camera (most videos have a constantly moving camera); a heavy reptition of images (circling from studio, to parking garage, to outside, back to studio, etc). Not enough to show your originality as a filmmaker. But it's all shot really really well for what it is. And frankly, in some ways it's a bit refreshing to not have to look at the generic shots of hot booty in bikinis while the rapper drives around in a Merc. Only wish you had more images/shots/locations to work with to show your stuff. Something that shows your interpretation of the song rather than just showing the rapper throughout.

Liked the song. Also, good audio production. Your video wasn't flashy; which I think helps. Makes the performers seem more genuine.
 
Great song. I agree the video was not flashy, but I still found it a little too bland. I think the framing on the balcony looking at the PAP(?) part of the vertical ad was odd. I know you probably had to do what he wanted so I give you props for getting a good video that is doing well. Nice work. I hope I get so fortunate!
 
I liked 2 shots in it, the one with the gradient where he's outside and also the dark blacklight one, although that one could have been a little brighter or maybe had some small lights in the backround to break up the darkness. All the other shots look to home video-y to me, I still thought the whole thing was pretty straight. :beer:
