So my new company is finally up... Big Shot Studios... well almost, still got some things to do.

But anyways, check out our music vids at www.myspace.com/bigshotstudios

Shot with Letus35 FE and DVX100A with all sorts of nikon lenses.

And if you have a myspace... be my friend. please?

Your Myspace page is the reason I don't like going to people's Myspace pages. Too much stuff on the page. Even though you don't have video AND music playing over each other, why would you put three large video files on the same page? I have a fat pipe, well over 4mb and found it a pain in the ass for these videos to load. So much so that I didn't even bother to watch them on the page and instead downloaded them from your web site and watched them full screen in iTunes.

Most of the country still doesn't have broadband and putting over 60MB of video on your main page is probably not the best use of the site.

Think about either linking to the videos or changing to YouTube videos that will play/load when clicked.

As for the work, good job. Really liked the look of acoppreview. I'm thinking about getting the Letus35 Flip. What did you think about the light loss?

hey man, I'm well impressed!
did u use the letus on both those video's? Really loved the DP work man.
Starting my own Production CC here in South Africa im also 22yrs old. had about 1 years experience in film so far. What budget do u work with... shall I PM you? I'd really appreciate your advice. im loving wat u do.

Great vids! They look really professional...But gaah the weekend warriors one. I liked the vid alot, along with the song.. Too bad its incomplete. Sigh. Any idea when you'll be posting the completed vid? Its gonna be a keeper.

Oh and do you have a real website? Other than Myspace?

Cool stuff here! What kind of dolly did u used? Diy or $? Need one for my next project and try to find the right one for my budget.
Best.

thanks guys... yeah sorry for the big quicktimes, I'm trying to figure out the code where there is the image over the quicktime first and then you click the image to play, the image switches to quicktime then loads up and plays...

On the commercial reel, the insurnace commercial is straight up GL2 along with the home commercial. The Sprite one is straight DVX100A

I rented my dolly from a place called ReelMen here in the Phoenix. They have a lot of video and film equip. It's a professional dolly. If you go to http://www.coldfusionx.com/New Site/index.html and in their media/pictures/music video shoot 2006 their are some pics of it.

The Weekend Warriors vid should be up soon, as the label is going to announce it fairly soon. I believe they aleady have it up on YouTube, but the band just hasn't said anything about it yet.

The lightloss on the letus35 FE isn't that bad, haven't used the Mini35 so I can't compare, but I would guess it's right around the same amount.

Good stuff, man.

I agree with what StormFactory said... that is the reason I don't use myspace at all. People load their pages with stuff and it never loads. Clickable links make much more sense.

Your videos look great. What is the general response from your clients when they see the final product? Nobody else in my area shoots 24p and they are blown away when they see it.

Looks great. What do you do to the colors to give them that saturated look? I have a GL2 and the image looks nothing like that insurance commercial.

Your work looks really great. I liked the "get out" music video the most.

- There is a lot of vignetting. Is this mainly in post or does the letus have a little bit also?

- I agree that myspace.com is the worst place in the world. But strangely I have a page and so do millions of other people. I would recommend putting together a simple web page. It took me 10 minutes just to download the video, most clients aren't going to be happy about that.

Lookin good. The specs are nicely edited as well.

Cheers,

 Matt

great lighting and cinematography. Could you please tell me where you got the stock film reels you used for transitions on weekend warriors
