Lowest Price with one 4GB P2 card?

Hello DVX/HVXusers,

I was just wondering what the cheapest price was at a non grey market dealer i could get the HVX W/ one 4GB P2 card?

Now that we're on the right forum, I believe Specc is offering them for $550 and I heard about one offering them for as low as $530 but I can't remember where.

Hello David,

Recently we have lowered our pricing for the 4GB cards to $510. If you buy it with a HVX, you get them for $499 each. The $499 price is for DVXusers ONLY and is only available if a HVX200 is purchased.

Get an 8 gig. It is about the same price, essentially as 2 4 gigs.

That's what I did. 2 8 gigs instead of 4 4gigs.

Well the problem is that I can only afford 1 4 gig P2 card. If I could afford 4 4gig P2s, I'd buy 2 8 gigs, sure. But when money is an issue, you get what you can afford.

Unfortunartely, my car decided yesterday to sh*t its heater core all over itself, which comes to a repair cost of *ta-da* one 4 gig P2 card

The ironing is delicious
 
um i think u are not seeing my question correctly?!?!? I asked what the cheapest price for an HVX200 Camera with a 4GB P2 card would be. :)
 
see spec-comm's post above. 499 for a 4 gig p2 card with the purchase of a camera. The camera runs 5299 from them. It doesn't get any cheaper than that from an authorized dealer.
However, as was also mentioned, nobody really has 4 gig cards in stock. Spec-comm was back ordered at last check, that may have changed though. so that leaves 8 gig cards. so 5299 for the camera + p2 card (with dvx user discount) - 2% discount for paying buy certified check. It's the best deal in town.

Does anyone know whether the P2 cards work on both NTSC and Pal versions of the HVX as the model numbers of the cards are different?
