how was it "dirted" up? was it shot with gain? extra contrast and pushed in the grade? exactly how was it done? thanks mate!

I'm very fortunate he gets my visual style. #6 is my homage to Munich

You stole my words. Munich, thats the first thing that came to my mind. Excellent shot. Just would have looked even better if it were not so dead center. Just a tad bit to the right. Would have worked wonders.

Hey guys,

Wow! Thanks so much for the responses! I had no idea this thread would get so many hits. I've been super busy getting this film ready so I didn't have time to cut together a formal trailer but here's a montage of some of the footage.

Also, just to fill you guys in, we already submitted to Sundance and Slamdance and will try to hit up all the major festivals this year.

Enjoy!

PS. I've also linked the video in the original post for easy access.

excellent. Congrats on great work. maybe someday i can make something look that cool.

The budget was about $11,500. It's because we went SAG. Insurance took up almost $3,000. We shot for 5 days, 23 pages of script. One suggestion, 4-5 pages a day with this kind of light setup is NOT A GOOD IDEA. Found out first hand. Setup time is killer. Realistically, 2-3 is good if you want ample coverage.

this is great material to do a film out test - any chance you can get a film house to transfer 1 minute and project it on a big screen - So far we are all not sure if the M2 can stand up to a blow up - but this is some of the best footage I have seen so its a good candidate

I assume you're looking at a 20-25 minute short right ? For the budget, that's not bad.

Good luck on Sundance!
