Look, I've been lurking here for some time and have enjoyed most of the interaction. However, I'm a bit puzzled why there appears to be so little commentary regarding Movie Master's poor etiquette. I "got" the fun associated with his film and his promotion. However, it's well into October and I would think the so-called professionals here would at least try to help the guy out with a little constructive guidance regarding communication. This entire business and industry revolves around appearances, impressions and interaction more than most. Are you really doing MM any favors by letting him believe that ALLCAP postings with NO punctuation and poor grammar are acceptable? Moreover, he lashes out aggressively and harshly towards anyone who disagrees with him. I finally had to write this to ask whether this is endorsed by as many of you as it seems. I was under the impression this was a board populated by serious professionals and those desiring to join those ranks. If so, is this really helpful making this guy a 'mascot' or jester? Frankly, I can find very little "serious" information from MM's postings. If he would admit he has no illusion that he'll find a place in this industry and is just f*cking around, well, at least we could judge him accordingly. However, his more recent solicitation for suggestions regarding technique lead me to believe he actually hopes to make his way in the business. If so, shouldn't we at least make some suggestions about maturity and communication skills? Does anybody here truly believe this guy will ever make a successful pitch with his attitude and grammar?

Maybe I'm the one misplaced. Could someone point me to a forum for serious indie filmmakers who don't have the time nor inclination to put up with b.s.?
