Script doctors were called in on Superman, (before Singer got a hold of the project).

A friend of mine was one of them. And Singer's scriptwriter is one of my writing partner's students from Columbia.

Everything about this blew me away. From Start to finish absolutely brilliant! The acting at the end was amazing!

I am quoting myself just to say that this is absolutely freakin amazing. Everything about it blew me away and the psychotic feel at the end freaked me out! The blood dripping on the face was my scariest moment and the corpse pointing as the door closes .....AHHH FREAKY! Basically I believe the win in this contest is between three people. You are one of them!!!!!

Bitchun!!!!!

Thank you!

thought this was very well done. the story is a little predictable but the cinematography makes up for it.

especially liked the scene in the bathroom where things change between past and present. and where you see the actual murder happen with the guy beating the woman in the bath. looked really graphic :D and thats how i like it

overall really good job, acting, make-up, editing, camera.

and off course the music. my fav part at about 2:50 where the fulte comes in. reminded me of jeff beal music (carnivale, rome) awesome.

thanks everyone. I really appreciate everyone coming to watch. I've been slowing making my way through all of the other films and reviewing as I go!

Also, Matt, I really wish I would have looked at your little AE technique before I submitted this...:(

Do it.
Here's one for you.

Bloody Mary is the bloodiest most frightening religiously occult film I've seen in the last two days! It made my hair explode off my head, I plan to take legal action immediately :)

Oi! Don't forget to leave your review for Broken Circle!

CINEMATOGRAPHY:

Wow, great work. You guys did a great job of really utilizing the 35mm adapter and not just throwing it on to get extremely shallow depth of field. Great job keeping focus especially on the dolly shots. I really like the shot of the three girls moving forward on the couch telling the other girl that she's going to hell. I also like the shot of the man looking down the stairs. The lighting was also very nice, the shadows were nicely put.

EDITING:

I really don't have any negative comments on the editing. It fit together nicely and flowed well. The only thing I didn't like was the shot where it seems like there is an eye and the figure put together. It seems kinda choppy and I don't think it fits very well. But other then that, very good cut choices.

SOUND:

Everything seemed to be mixed very well. The dialogue was clearly audible as well as the soundtrack and background noise. The only thing I noticed was that during the scene where it was implyed that the girl was stabbing the man, the noises the man made seemed odd, almost like maybe he was making too much noise.

SCORE:

Very creepy, very suspensful. I felt that it worked greaet, and fit each scene. Really helped to push the feel of each scene. No complaints here.

SCREENPLAY:

Great job utilizing a common urban legend. I definitely feel that you hit the right age group as well. The first time I watched, the story line was a little confusing. But once I watched it again I think I got it. The dialogue between the teenage girls in the beginning seemed very real.

ACTING:

All of your actors did a great job. The three teenage girls on the couch played their parts very well, and the main girl did an awesome job. She was very good at playing different emotions and was very convincing. Major props for her sitting in the tub with all of that "blood" on her. I would think that doing that would be so difficult, and her performance during that part was awesome.

Overall I thought that this was a very good film. It had great cinematography, editing, acting, directing, audio. Everything really meshed together well. Seeing the girl with all that blood on in the end was a little disturbing, but I think thats something you guys were going for.

Easily in my top 3. Well done guys. Top notch across the board. I have a few little nit picks, but nothing, I'm sure, that wouldn't have been cleared up with a few more minutes running time.

I watched BLOODY MARY first and that's hurt every other flick I've seen since.

FOR THE LOVE OF SATAN VOTE FOR THIS ONE OR MY DEMONS WILL EAT YOU APPART!!!!!!!!!!

HAHAHA!!! I think it between this and Rekindled and The Seeing. Bloody Mary Was ABSOLUTELY amazing and seemed pro to me. My AE techniue was very helpful. You can use it in the future. Props to you guys! Amazing and a half.

This was one of my favorties. Top 5 for sure. I loved the taking of an urban legend and turning into something that was real. I think you did a great job.

It starts off and feels familiar; 3 chicks having a slumber party .. good times.

Scary, well planned and executed!

My only serious reservation was the performance ofthe lead firl; one second she seems like the tough girl , the next she is terified ... it didnt seem consistent with the stoy.

Other than tha, great job!

Just watched this again. 6 or 7 times now I think. The thing I
always notice first is the quality of the cinematography.
Dead on. Actresses were very good. The man totally sold it
for me. His eyes. Everytime I see this, he just gets
creepier EVERY time. Liked the blood from the Mary-doll.
Ties in with the title. The hugging scene was bar none
cinematically and acting. Good as it gets. Havn't picked up on the
part where she's standing with the corpse yet. Will watch again.
The final scene with the lady in the tub covered in blood is gruesome.
Gotta feel for the actress. Looks like living death...man. Looked for credits.
??? Keeper for me
