Some Fall Footage, and practicing of my DOF abilities

I enjoyed the footage as well. How about some setting info? I always like to see how others set up their cams. Thanks.
 
Nice footage SurJones. What Vinten are you using? Is it the Vision 3? Also, in some of the pans the background perspective changes in relation to the foreground. Did you dolly the tripod while you panned?

I usualy take a pic my LCD to get settings,and post in in my threads, but I think I accidently deleated it. Oops.

Tim: I am using the Vinten 10. Some may say it is overrated for the weight of the HVX, but I dont have any issues with it, as you can see from my video. I also dont use any sandbags. especially in situations like this where it is run and gun. Of course this was all in my front yard, but I wanted to get the sun where i saw it the day before. Shot where the sun shinning through the tree.

You know what I thought about the perspective changes in relation to the foreground after watching the video. I did not plan it that way, but it came out perfect. Now I want to reshoot on an dolly to see how that would look. I did shoot diagonal, which is why it looked like that I am sure.

I used the Manual Zoom, It was cool, because I was able to get the DOF that I wanted. It was just very accurate. I just rocked it back and forth looking at how i wanted my DOF to look.
