A cheap CGA-D54S Battery alternative

I only trust SpecComm's 3rd party batteries. They are lighter and longer lasting, and only 99 bucks. This is the longest lasting abttery on the market that I know if. I have one, and want another two of them, so I can toss my Panny one to the back seat. it is a 6000mAh.

Interesting. Thanks guys. However I can buy 3 of the above batteries for what they charge over here for 1 of the Panasonic version. Anyone ever bought these?

Never heard of it. The only third party batteries we support over here are the DVXUser batteries; $79 for a 5600mah (which is the longest-lasting battery you can get, regardless of whether others claim "6000" or not). And at $79, that's not much more than the eDesign, and it has around 20% more capacity.

Thanks everyone. The DVXUser batteries look very good.
Would still like to hear from anyone who has tried these.

Has anyone else had problems with their DVXUser battery order? I placed an order over two weeks ago and have not heard anything from them. I sent emails to Battery@Dvxuser.com and contact@zoomforce.com asking for a status on the order and got nothing back. I ordered the HVX book and DVD and got both really quickly (excellent resources by the way). I'm not sure what is going on with the batteries. Is there a phone number for these guys that I can call?

Update: I received and email from DVXuser explaining an order glitch. They are FedExing the batteries to me. Customer service has been excellent since they were made aware of the problem.

I currently own batteries from Spec-Comm, Lenmar, Panasonic, and DVXUser.com... So I'll perform the test this weekend and I'll get back to y'all with some results..

I just worked on a 2 HVX/M2 feature. We had Panasonic batteries, Specialized batteries, and DVX User batteries in the mix. The Specialized batteries last the longest. The Panasonic last the shortest, but worked the best on the HD Marshall monitors with the battery upgrade. The specialized batteries worked sometimes on the monitor, but the DVX batteries never worked on the 2 Marshall's. That's my 2 cents.

The difference between them is in slight deviations in contacts. Some of them have the contacts seated a bit too low; it does not cause any problems with the cameras, as the design of the camera receptical allows for that. The Lenmar battery plates used in the monitors are less forgiving.
